For three years in a row the summer outreach projects are completed by offering an Apologetics Camp with the goal to help provide a stronger foundation to those who came to know the Lord throughout the summer and for the young people who move from high-school to the world of academia. Many young people experience a crisis of faith when they face the atheistic academia. The goal of the Apologetics camp is to take a critical look at the various aspects of Christian faith. The camp focused on both a discipleship and evangelism as there is also a number of students who are still searching for truth. This year at least two of the camp participants made a firm commitment to follow Christ as the result of the camp. Every day began with a lecture focusing on grace as foundations of Chrisitan life. Rick McIver, the discipleship pastor of Grace Bible Church in Georgetown, TX, was the keynote speaker. ![]() Other topics presented were: Cosmological Arguments for the Existence of God, Evaluation or Creation, Worldviews, Living in the Age Post-truth, and a number of others. Special thanks to First Baptist Church (Belton, TX) for supporting this camp.
