Our ministry operates in the capital city with over 120.000 people living in high-rises. Most are within 15-20 minute walk from the current location of the ministry center. There are nine schools located on the street that cuts through the heart of the area. During the summer our teams together with our partners ventures to the sports fields near these schools and provide organized events while building relationships with the community. These photos and video are from a week-long effort in partnership with our friends from Midland, TX.
During the urban camps a number of events took place such as sporting events focusing on volleyball, basketball, soccer. Daily clubs filled with fun and games for different age groups that also allowed to share the message of the Gospel in small group setting.
One of the new types of events was a series of meetings for girls helping them understand God's design for their lives. This turned out to be a very effective and positive time with focus on discipleship.

According to UNICEF report 25% of Moldovan children are missing their parent due to migration. These children are extremely vulnerable. 100,000 children have one parent missing due to labor migration while 40.000 have both parents missing. Many of these children experiences phycological challenges due to loneliness and abandonment. 23% does not get proper medical care. 10% do not have even a guardian (left completely alone).
This is why it is so important to KBC to develop an outreach to these Social Orphans. This report is from outreach to children aged 4-10. An amazing week of VBS.
Its was a dynamic week of ministry. Together with friends from Midland, TX KBC volunteers led a Vacation Bible School. A number of parents from surrounding buildings around the new KBC location came. Over forty kids total participated and have heard the Good News. The children ministry of KBC is growing. The video below is a short overview of the VBS week.
New Beginnings camp was conducted as part of the series of summer ministry efforts to share the Good News with the middle-schoolers. These are organized by the "Restart Club" that is a part of KBC Outreach.
This camp brought fifty-nine kids to the campground where they had a chance to have fun as well as be introduced to the truths of the Gospel. At least sixty percent of kind sin this camp were "first-timers." The time in the camp allows our team to build the relationships with the kids and help them feel "belonging" so they can be discipled throughout the school year during the regular meetings.
The vision of Kishinev Bible Church and Moldova Bible Seminary is to reach the people of Eurasia with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Russia as recently become one of the closed countries to evangelistic outreach and has introduced a law virtually banning "missionary activity" and most forms of evangelism beyond the approved church buildings. Russian people, and especially our brethren need our prayers today.
It is always amazing to see young people eager to study even though it is summer vacation and sunshine is inviting to just relax. Forty-eight young men and women got together at the English Summer Camp organized by a team from First Baptist Church (Belton, TX).
The team had trained ELS professionals and church volunteers. This camp provided a great platform for studying the language and presenting the Good News through daily studies, vocabulary sets and Bible stories.
Below are links to videos that describe the main days of the camp.
