10 families 10 weeks

Since January KBC has focused on building a team to plant a Romanian speaking fellowship. Since the team has been built from MBS students and KBC member that continues to grow. Marcel D. who leads this team created a “Ten Families, Ten Weeks” outreach. We had ask the principal of the local Romanian speaking public school to introduce us to ten families that have children in her school who are in need and have many children.

For ten weeks we will deliver food bags to these families and every two weeks with gather both children and their parents for an event where we will create opportunities to mingle and share the good news creatively. This strategy has proven to be very effective as there is now a huge openness. The plan is to plug the kids into Sunday school and parents into a discipleship group setting. Please be in prayer for these families to open their hearts to the Lord and for the Romanian fellowship to have an ongoing impact on their lives.

Easter Touch From Hands of Christ

In spite of the obstacles Kishinev Bible Church faced this last two weeks the ministry continues to go on. It is the time of celebration of our Lord's resurrection. KBC youth ministry's partnered with the elderly ministry to reach out with the Good News to those in needed of Lord healing touch.

One week before the volunteer teens worked hard to make hand-made Easter Greeting cards for the elderly. They wanted to share the love and care that only a family can express with hopes of bringing joy into the lives of those these widows.

Together with elderly ministry and KBC volunteers we prepared eighty food bags to be delivered before Easter Sunday. Since the youth did not have a place to worship as the school has told KBC that all services will be canceled and we will not be able to us the hall, the youth took to the streets and visited a large number of the homes delivering food care packages and Easter cards with the story of hope.

We are grateful to all our partners, KBC volunteers, MBS students, KBC leadership team who made it possible for us to be the hands of Jesus Christ delivering assistance and showing His love to those in need.

Theology Survey Class with Dr. Thomas Nite

This class proved very helpful to the students in their practical lives. Max shared that it really opened his eyes to some truths that he had been thinking about relating both to Satan, demons, and to the doctrine of the church. It was really exciting to see him working hard and learning a lot! Edward shared that even though I challenged a lot of his ideas about demon activity, today, he felt he learned a lot about going to the Bible for answers to his questions. I saw Marina work on a higher level than I have seen her perform so far. As I encouraged her she beamed and worked harder than ever. All of these students have great potential for the Lord. It is a privilege to invest in their lives looking forward to the way God is going to use them for His glory in Moldova or where ever he leads them in the future. - Dr. Thomas Nite
