Fannin Terrace Baptist Church is a long-time strong partner in ministry with Kishinev Bible Church. This summer a team of ten joined us for a week long ministry outreach that included VBS, sports events, visit to an orphanage for disabled children, American club events as well as visitation and delivery of food to the elderly. Mission trips are powerful life changers both for those we minister to and those who come to serve.
This video is short report with reflections by the FTBC team members about their experience in Moldova and how God used them for His glory.

Kishinev Bible Church focuses its ministry in the south-eastern part of the capital city of Chisinau. The overall area has over 250.000 people living in a very condensed manner in high-rise buildings. The area has over a dozen public schools. The summer season saw three urban outreach efforts located at one of the school stadiums. KBC youth and children ministry teams partner with teams from USA to plan these events. Various sports competitions serve as the main venue to build the relationships. Soccer championship draws mostly 10-4 year olds. Volleyball and basketball attract teens and even see adults. Children ministry comes alongside with VBS program to reach the many children drawn to the fields.
English language is a worldwide universal communication device. Moldovans are very interested in English and in American culture. ESL (English as Second Language) is a ministry of KBC with focus on outreach to those especially interested in learning the foreign language. For the last three summers KBC in partnership with churches and organizations from USA organize camps that focus on teaching teens the English intensives. The groups are broken into beginner, intermediate and advanced. Learning the pronunciation from the original carrier of the language is highly desirable. In 2015 a group of Americans from various states in USA came to offer this opportunity. Forty-nine young people gathered together in the summer of 2015 and spent time learning English skills. They had lectures, group discussion and creative games. Every evening they had heard a Bible story that led to the presentation of the Gospel and eventually an opportunity to choose to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives. The week was also full of fun activities and provided opportunities for team building experiences. English camps serve as a great platform for relationship building and for presenting the Good News. KBC offers a round-year ESL program that helps the overall outreach of the church. The camp was very engaging. It was organized and planned in conjunction with KBC ESL ministry led by Alina K. who offers classes throughout the year. The American teachers created the camp program based on biblical stories of miracles performed by Jesus to creatively share the message of the Gospel.
