Victor and Claudia - a family from a small town near Mariupol. Today they are safe in one of the Chrisitian refugee centres in Chisinau. They are Jewish. They believe in Yeshua.

After twenty days with no water, no electricity, no heating and with bombs destroying more and more of the town they were rescued by Cristian volunteers in a convoy of seven cars after three unsuccessful attempts - first car was turned away at a checkpoint, second destroyed by the Russian military, killing the driver, and third wounding the driver. On the fourth attempt they were rescued by Christian volunteers.

It is not that they did not want to leave. They could not due to a city being under siege. On day twenty they sat down to eat in the evening. Claudia remembers getting up to pick up salt and seconds later bombs exploded near their home. She remembers her husband on the floor. The table destroyed by the shrapnel, windows shattered. As they got out out he house they saw three houses of neighbours destroyed. They were rescued the next morning.

Victor and Claudia are happy to be safe. Claudia said she had a very deep sleep and as she woke up she felt God stroke her hair in the morning, letting her know He is near. Last four days they are awaiting to be united with their two daughter and eight grandchildren. They give Glory to God for keeping them safe.

In Genesis 17 God introduces Himself to Abraham as El Shaddai - I Am God Almighty. 
There is a Chrisitan camp on the south of Moldova call El Shaddai.   It is an honor for KBC Ministries to partner with this ministry to help house over 120 refugees.  We have been able to:

✅ get them a laundry equipment
✅ get an industrial dish washer
✅ buy groceries to feed residents
✅ prepare and deliver cooked meals on Sunday so cooks can go to church and be home for a day with their families.

It was so cold my thoughts were freezing.

Pastor Rustam Kokirtsev made the deliveries provided by KBC Ministries to a local church in a village of Budei (outside of Orhei) that accepted over sixty refugees in eight homes. This is one of numerous centers, north of the capital, we partner with in providing for refugees.

Pastor Rustam is a student at Moldova Bible Seminary and a church planter in our partnership with CBC Global and Community Bible Church. (San Antonio, TX)

Serghei Sh. is the church planter working in the Gagauz region of Moldova.  This is his third church plant with KBC Ministries.  He has been working with a team of believers to he the refugees in the region. 

Serghei's report on 19th day of the war:

✓ More than 5000 km in ;
✓ Supporting 9 centers (churches, children's centres) in receiving refugees in South;
✓ 8000 refugees got temporary shelters, food, essential things and transportation.

​Because of your generosity here are a few things to report. 

✅ Info-tents complete with generators setup on two sides of the border (hot beverage service, snacks, SIM cards)
✅ Up to 1000 served at the border daily by KBC and other volunteers.
✅ Transportation of people from the  border to the numerous Christian refugee centers
✅Twenty Christian centers ranging from 10 to 200 beds supplied with food, bedding, hygiene, equipment.
✅ five centers furnished with beds, blankets, towels, linens, pillows, hygiene items.
✅ 22 vans with food delivered to over 25 centers across Moldova.
✅ Border soup kitchen, feeding over 200 per meal, is stocked up with equipment and groceries. (largest crossing)
✅ ten vans of food and hygiene items sent into Ukraine
✅ 5000+ baby meals provided
✅ 30+ people a day are being fed full hot meals on Ukraine side of border on the north.
✅ A unified call-center is being setup to help provide safe passage for women and children 
✅ four vehicles fixed to ensure safe travel to Western Europe
✅ numerous bus tickets for families provided to go to western countries
✅ tens of thousands of people helped across the country, as they flee from the destruction left behind. ✅ The total number is hard to count.

For the last twelve days I have seen many people's true hearts. One of the "real" people is Mr. Vitalie Jacot (MP).

Mr. Jacot is one of many parliament members I interacted with, working on the ground. He has been instrumental in getting necessary connections and permits to ensure the operations of Samaritan’s Purse U.S. Disaster Relief across Moldova.

Mr. Jacot is also working on the ground, overseeing the old school, converted overnight into refugee center, housing close to 400 people. Working with their sleeves rolled up, his team is making everything possible to help people. I have known Mr. Jacot before he became an MP, but this week, from meetings in the Parliament to unloading baby-food and blankets this crisis showed me that that he is a "real' man.
