Vasilii was born 300 kilometers from Moscow near city of Orel. When Nazi troops invaded the area in 1942 Vasili and his family were under the occupation. As Soviet Army began to push back the nazis ordered them to leave with them. One early morning the guards were missing and their family decided to escape and join the Soviet army. Just before they got over their front line his father stepped on a mine. Several times he was sent over the front line by the Red Army commanders to collect information on occupied territory. After studying to work on metal equipment he started to work at a factory making parts for cannons. All this time he wanted to fight on the front-lines. He added an extra year to his age as he signed up to fight. In 1944 he earned the rank of junior lieutenant.
For several years now KBC elderly ministry and friends from USA visit Vasilii and his wife. They deliver food care packages as well as aspire to be the light of the Lord in their lives. Vasilii is a convinced communist, though many in KBC church and in USA pray that the Lord would touch his heart.
We invite you to join us in prayers for Vasilii.

During the month of November Evghenii is traveling across USA. During the trip he is meeting with KBC partners and working on developing projects, trips and partnerships for 2016 ministry year. The first stop is Midland, TX. Evghenii spoke at both worship services at Fannin Terrace Baptist Church. He shared about the ministry in Moldova that is a result of international partnerships. The students of Moldova Bible Seminary that are trained by adjunct faculty from USA go to Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, India, Romania and the geography continues to grow. The key of the presentation was that the "missions today is everywhere to everywhere." The success of missionary effort in XXI century depends on effective partnerships of churches across the globe. KBC is developing key partnerships with churches in USA to create effecting mission effort and reach the ends of the earth. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached
in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24.14, NIV |
