Fannin Terrace Baptist Church is the strategic partner of Kishinev Bible Church. As part of the partnership a team from the church comes to serve alongside the Moldovans to reach out in Urban Project sharing the love of God with children through VBS, teens through sports clubs and elderly through visitation program. This year the team was joined by Redeemer Church in Midland, TX. The weeklong outreach has been very fruitful touching hundreds of people with the Good News.

As art of the Project 127, the Art-school has been a unique tool in helping reach both children and teenagers. It is a part of the after-school program that is designed to reach to the community and especially provide children a safe place and help impact them with the Good News. During every lesson the students have time in the word of God and then learn to paint. Since its inception the school is growing and expanding. This is a TV spot in Romanian shot in May describing the school's work in the local community.
The students of Moldova Bible Seminary are involved in regular ministry throughout the year. As part of their education they also travel on international mission trips during the summer and winter breaks. This summer the geography of the outreach of MBS has expanded to include India.
Jeanya T. is a senior at MBS and during her years of studies has travelled across Moldova, Transnistria and Russia participating in ministry work. Her focus was children and teens. In 2014 after one of the trips to Russia she learned about a ministry in India that was started by Eastern Europeans and includes several orphanages. For a year she prayed about going to serve with them. As a result Jenya has joined together with a group of five young people from Moldova and traveled to serve the Indian orphans for a month.
Together with a team from Moldova, Jenya has been teaching children in four orphanages and also participated in an outreach to children in slums of Deli. This was a life-changing experience as upon her return Jenya has shared that he is now considering a long-term commitment to the country of India and the children she fell in love with.
Here you may see a video report from the month-long outreach in the country of over a billion.
A team from Kishinev Bible Church has prepared a program for children from villages in the south-west of Moldova. The ninety children gathered and their parents were presented with a play "The Tale of Three Trees" that tells of dreams of greatness of three trees. These trees became (1) the manger where Jesus was born, (2) the boat that Jesus rode and calmed the sea in and (3) the cross where Jesus was crucified. The Gospel was presented and unexpecting children received gifts collected and packed by KBC church fellowship. Fifty-five more gifts were passed to the pastor of the local church who serve in several villages. He delivered the gifts to the families with disabled children in the villages. Traditionally, Moldovan Eastern Orthodox believers celebrate Christmas on January 7th according to Julian calendar. This outreach was planned to coincide with wonderful celebration. Merry Christmas to all of KBC friends! It was a blessed time of worship and celebration. Of course the Gospel message was presented for many guests. |
