Learning about the culture of other people is an awesome experience. When the teams from USA come to Moldova, we organize a three-day set of events called "American Club." The ministry team form Community Bible Church in San Antonio, TX has been a huge success in putting together a program offered to dozens of young people.  During the event the teens learn about American culture, history and holidays. Since faith plays a major role in USA culture, these is an amazing opportunity to hear about God's plan for everyone and His offer of eternal life.

We had an amazing beginning of the summer with two sets of VBS organized with friends from Community Bible Church. The week of VBS was organized for both Kishinev Bible Church and Alinarea Bible Church (the Romanian speaking fellowship). The opportunity was to impact children from the entire neighborhood and also their parents. Over ninety percent of children came from families not associated with the churches and the Gospel message was clearly communicated. There are weekly follow-up Bible studies offered and children were invited to join.      As the summer begins, Evghenii had an opportunity to speak at the annual conference/training organized by Mission Eurasia called #Empower. This coference is a platform, used to share new ideas on outreach through camps organized by various organizations across Moldova. The teams of camp leaders came from multiple locations representing over a dozen organizations and missions. The organizers present new games, subjects and trends in teen outreach.  Evghenii spoke about the use of the sum of past experiences for God's glory and how to use them as strengths. Further he spoke about what should be left in the past and how to be creative leaving in building bridges and speaking to the modern teen cultures.   |
