The students of Moldova Bible Seminary are involved in regular ministry throughout the year. As part of their education they also travel on international mission trips during the summer and winter breaks. This summer the geography of the outreach of MBS has expanded to include India.
Jeanya T. is a senior at MBS and during her years of studies has travelled across Moldova, Transnistria and Russia participating in ministry work. Her focus was children and teens. In 2014 after one of the trips to Russia she learned about a ministry in India that was started by Eastern Europeans and includes several orphanages. For a year she prayed about going to serve with them. As a result Jenya has joined together with a group of five young people from Moldova and traveled to serve the Indian orphans for a month.
Together with a team from Moldova, Jenya has been teaching children in four orphanages and also participated in an outreach to children in slums of Deli. This was a life-changing experience as upon her return Jenya has shared that he is now considering a long-term commitment to the country of India and the children she fell in love with.
Here you may see a video report from the month-long outreach in the country of over a billion.

There are over 12,000 orphans in more then forty orphanages in the country of Moldova. Even greater is the number of social orphans. These are the children of then a million of Moldovans (almost quarter of country population) who left the country in search for jobs.
In partnership with Thirsty for Love, Inc. (thirstyforlove.org) Kishinev Bible church had an opportunity to make a christmas presentation and share the message of true meaning of Christmas with children and teachers of the specialized orphanage for children who are unto seven years old. These children will eventually be sent to orphanages across the country. Thirsty for Love, Inc. provided Christmas gifts for over hundred children at the orphanage. Speaking of children Jesus said: "...for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matt 19.14)
During the last week Kishinev Bible Church members came together and built and painted new tables and benches for the orphanage. The orphans are from one month to seven years old. These are the defenseless and in need. Thank you for your prayers! One of the needs in Moldovan orphanages is limited financing. KBC had the opportunity to deliver a load of vegetables for the orphanage that hoses over six hundred disabled children. These kids are rejected by the families and society. Thank you for your prayers and special thank to Hillside Fellowship for providing funds for the food.
One of the areas of ministry of KBC extends to an orphanage in the north of Moldova for disabled children. This orphanage houses about four hundred disabled children. Many are orphans, parents of others are drug addicts or alcoholics, yet others were just rejected because of their condition.
These are photos from our recent visit in partnership with Fannin Terrace Baptist Church. They were able to purchase several microwaves and vaccume-cleaners as wells as diapers, detergent and bananas. We also had a chance to spend couple hours interacting and playing with the children.
