A week long project by men from Fannin Terrace Baptist Church who came and made major improvements on Moldova Bible Seminary facilities including replacement of windows, plastering and painting the walls, replacing floors and more. They fixed major class-room, kitchen, two key hallways and painted the main entry way! Thanks to all who helped with this project! MBS students will be very blessed!
Zina lives by herself, she used to go to church but it’s now too difficult to walk so she tries to go on her birthday. She is 94. When USSR took over Moldova Zina, along with over 200,000 others was sent to Siberia and worked in a concentration camp for 6 yrs where her family died. When all these people were loaded in cargo train carts it took over a month to get to Siberia. Many died on the way. A day after Stalin died she along with many others was told she can leave for Moldova. When she returned, she built a house and communist government took it away shortly. On a second occasion, she was asleep in her 2nd rebuilt home and government came and once again, took it from her. She lost her home 3 times. She is a widow. Everyone who loved her has left her. She is visited regularly by Liuba from seminary. It has been said that the best gift is the one made with hands. KBC children under leadership of Tanya Covaliciuc made greeting cards for the Elderly. Together with MBS students these cards as well as grocery bags were delivered to the homes of those served by KBC Elderly ministry (Claudette Guerrero). A beautiful time of fellowship of the generations, learning moments and Christmas joy in hearts! Thank you to KBC and MBS team for making this outreach possible. The story of KBC Intern who served with us over fifteen months.
